Job Summary
We are seeking a motivated and dynamic Membership Counselor to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in sales and business development, with a focus on building relationships and providing exceptional customer service. This role requires a blend of technical knowledge and interpersonal skills to effectively engage with clients, understand their needs, and deliver tailored solutions. The Counselor will play a critical role in driving growth through outside sales, account management, and lead generation.
Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients through effective account management and territory management.
- Conduct outside sales activities to generate new business opportunities and expand existing accounts.
- Utilize CRM software to track interactions, manage leads, and analyze sales performance.
- Perform product demonstrations to showcase features and benefits to potential clients.
- Collaborate with marketing teams to align strategies for lead generation and customer engagement.
- Engage in direct sales efforts including cold calling, upselling, and negotiating contracts.
- Provide exceptional customer service by addressing client inquiries and resolving issues promptly.
- Analyze market trends and competitor activities to identify opportunities for business development.
- Participate in training sessions to enhance skills in technology sales and Salesforce utilization.
Skills
- Proven experience in outside sales, B2B sales, or technical sales.
- Strong management skills with the ability to lead initiatives effectively.
- Proficiency in CRM software for tracking customer interactions and managing accounts.
- Excellent negotiation skills with a focus on achieving win-win outcomes.
- Ability to conduct product demos that effectively communicate value propositions.
- Strong analytical skills for assessing market conditions and performance metrics.
- Experience in lead generation strategies that drive successful outcomes.
