Counselor Summer Day Camp - South End

START DATE: 6-15-26 THRU 7-31-26

25-40 hours per week

1. 18 years or older, high school graduate.

2. CPR and First Aide certified.

3. Some college coursework desired.

4. Experience working with and supervising children in a day care or camp setting.

5. Additional hours on field trip days and special events.

6. Ability to work well in team environment.

7. Background check, Dept. of Human Services Clearance required as well as fingerprinting.

JOB DUTIES:

1. Assist Director/Asst. Director to prepare site in morning and check-in children

2. Assist organizing site for closing and checking out children

3. To interact with the children individually and in groups so that special needs are met

4. To assist in preparing and maintaining a clean, safe and inviting environment

5. To protect the privacy of the families enrolled by observing the rules of confidentiality

6. To maintain a pleasant atmosphere for all children by using positive and consistent guidance techniques

7. To perform other duties as designated by the day camp director
