Residential Counselor

TriSource is seeking Residential Counselors to work within a group home setting on a boarding school campus in Washington, CT, working with kids and teens who have social, emotional, and behavioral health challenges.

Schedules available:

• Mon, Tues, Wed - 3pm-11pm, and Sat - 7am-11pm
• Wed, Thurs, Fri - 3pm-11pm, and Sun 7am-11pm
• Mon, Tues, Wed, Sat - 11pm-9am
• Wed, Thurs, Fri, Sun - 11pm-9am

Qualifications:

• Experience working with caregiving and working with vulnerable populations or those with emotional and behavioral needs
• Enjoy working with youth
• Driver's license and driving REQUIRED
• Active CPR and First Aid
• PMT Certification
• PPD/TB results within the last year
• High school diploma or GED, bachelors degree a plus
• Ability to pass federal background check
• Ability to pass a drug test

Responsibilities:

• Support after school activities
• Provide support for social, emotional, and behavioral challenges
• Oversee meals, bedtime, routines, and bed checks
• Ensuring the safety and care of the residents
