Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) to join our team in Piscataway, NJ on a part-time basis, working approximately 20 hours per week. **You must hold an active RBT Certification**
In this vital role, you will implement individualized behavioral interventions under the supervision of a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA), supporting children with developmental disabilities, including autism spectrum disorder. Your energetic approach and positive attitude will help foster meaningful progress and enhance the quality of life for the individuals you serve.

Duties
- Implement evidence-based behavioral interventions based on individualized care plans aligned with applied behavior analysis (ABA) principles
- Collect, record, and analyze data on client behaviors to monitor progress and inform treatment adjustments
- Assist clients with activities of daily living (ADLs), such as grooming, dressing, feeding, and toileting, promoting independence
- Support clients during teaching sessions and structured activities designed to develop communication, social skills, and adaptive behaviors
- Maintain accurate documentation in compliance with HIPAA regulations, including medical records and behavioral data logs
- Collaborate closely with BCBAs, caregivers, and team members to ensure consistency in behavior management strategies
- Uphold confidentiality standards and adhere to all safety protocols related to patient care and medical terminology
Skills
- Strong knowledge of behavioral therapy techniques and applied behavior analysis (ABA) methodologies
- Experience working with children, especially those with autism or developmental disabilities
- Excellent data collection skills to track behavioral progress effectively
- Ability to assist with ADLs and implement behavior management strategies in various settings
- Familiarity with medical documentation, HIPAA compliance, and medical records management
- Compassionate approach to working with individuals requiring behavioral health support
- Effective teaching skills combined with patience and adaptability to meet diverse needs

Pay: $23.00 - $30.00 per hour
