As a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA), you will provide critical support through treatment plans for clients and their caregivers across home, school, telehealth, and community settings. Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive behavioral and skills assessments, including Functional Behavior Assessments (FBA) and standardized skill assessments, to identify treatment needs and establish measurable treatment goals.
- Develop, implement, and maintain individualized Behavior Intervention Plans (BIPs) using evidence-based Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) principles.
- Provide clinical supervision and mentorship to Registered Behavior Technicians (RBTs), including direct observation, competency assessments, and performance feedback in accordance with supervision standards established by the Behavior Analyst Certification Board.
- Analyze client data on an ongoing basis to evaluate treatment effectiveness and make appropriate program modifications to ensure meaningful progress.
- Deliver and oversee ABA therapy services within the client’s natural environment, including homes, daycare centers, schools, and community settings, to support generalization of skills.
- Provide structured parent and caregiver training sessions designed to teach caregivers how to implement behavioral strategies, reinforce skill acquisition, and support behavior management across environments.
- Collaborate with parents, daycare staff, teachers, and other service providers to promote consistency in behavioral interventions and support coordinated care.
- Complete accurate and timely clinical documentation, including treatment plans, progress reports, supervision notes, and reassessments in compliance with payer requirements and organizational policies.
- Support insurance authorization and medical necessity requirements, including preparation and review of treatment plans and documentation required for service continuation.
- Participate in case reviews, clinical consultations, and team meetings to support quality assurance and continuous improvement of services.
- Maintain compliance with the Ethics Code for Behavior Analysts established by the Behavior Analyst Certification Board.
- Maintain required continuing education and professional development to sustain BCBA certification and remain current with evidence-based ABA practices.
Qualifications:
- Current Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) certification in good standing through the Behavior Analyst Certification Board.
- Master’s Degree in Applied Behavior Analysis, Psychology, Special Education, Behavioral Science, or a closely related field.
- Experience conducting behavioral assessments, including Functional Behavior Assessments (FBA), treatment plan development, and reassessments.
- Experience developing and modifying Behavior Intervention Plans (BIPs) using evidence-based Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) principles.
- Experience supervising Registered Behavior Technicians (RBTs) through direct observation, performance feedback, competency assessments, and treatment fidelity monitoring.
- Experience maintaining a clinical caseload and providing ongoing supervision for multiple clients simultaneously (typically 4–6 clients).
- Experience providing on-site clinical supervision in natural environments such as homes, daycare centers, schools, or community settings.
- Experience providing structured parent and caregiver training sessions designed to support skill generalization and behavior management across environments.
- Experience delivering both in-person and telehealth clinical services, including remote supervision and caregiver consultation.
- Strong knowledge of ABA data collection systems and practice management platforms (Ensora Health preferred).
- Thorough understanding of HIPAA regulations, clinical documentation requirements, and ethical standards established by the Behavior Analyst Certification Board.
- Experience working with children or individuals with autism or developmental disabilities (Required).
- Current CPR certification.
- Ability to pass Level 1 and Level 2 background screenings.
- Ability to obtain and maintain Brevard County School District contracting clearance/badge.
- Access to reliable transportation and ability to travel to client locations Monday–Friday.
- Strong communication, collaboration, and interpersonal skills when working with families, RBTs, educators, and interdisciplinary providers.
- Ability to sit, stand, walk, and occasionally lift up to 20 lbs while supporting therapy sessions and modeling interventions.
