Located in Augusta, GA our 84-bed facility provides a therapeutic setting for those seeking treatment for mental illness. The Director of Clinical Services (DCS) is a key member of the Lighthouse Leadership Team who will integrate and coordinate a patient centric therapeutic strategy with a keen focus on patient care; ensuring that delivery of high-quality and cost-effective treatment is consistent with the mission, vision, and values of Universal Health Services and in accordance with government regulation, licensing and accreditation requirements. The DCS participates in the hospital's strategic planning and contributes to the achievement of instituational goals and objectives through the clinical product.


SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITES: Clinical Services Department to include Recreational Therapy


JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
:

  • Responsible for developing, implementing, managing, and directing the programs and activities of patient care in accordance with established standards for mental health and facility policy, goals and objectives.
  • Responsible for inclusive of fiscal and staff management and program services for the acute, child and adolescent services and residential treatment inclusive of school.
  • Represents the hospital, admissions and adolescent services to the community and referring organizations and physicians.

Qualifications:
  • Master’s degree in Social Work and Licensure (LMSW/ LCSW) required.
  • 3-5 years management experience including within a healthcare setting.
  • Understanding of CMS, DSS, DHEC, DBHDD and JCAHO requirements.
  • Previous experience developing psychiatric programs and treatment plans.
