Position Overview: ABA Path is excited to announce the opening of our new location and is seeking a dedicated BCBA to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in applied behavior analysis and a passion for improving the lives of individuals with developmental disabilities and autism. This role involves conducting assessments, developing behavior intervention plans, and providing direct support to clients and their families.
**Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish is essential to serve our diverse client population.**
APPLICANT MUST BE AN APPROVED MEDICAID PROVIDER
Location: We are looking for someone to join our team at our clinic location and throughout Hillsborough, Pasco, and/or Pinellas County offering services across various settings, including our clinic, homes, schools, work placements, and communities.
Responsibilities
- Conduct patient assessments to determine behavioral needs and develop treatment plans for each client
- Provide behavioral therapy to individuals with developmental disabilities
- Implement behavior intervention strategies and techniques
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure coordinated care
- Monitor and evaluate patient progress and adjust treatment plans as needed
- Collect and analyze data to measure treatment outcomes
- Provide training and support to caregivers and other professionals
Requirements
- Board Certification in Behavior Analysis (BCBA) is required.
- Experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities or autism is preferred (minimum 1 year).
-Bilingual fluency in English and Spanish (required)
- Proficiency in medical documentation practices and understanding of HIPAA regulations.
- Strong skills in data collection, patient assessment, and analysis.
- Knowledge of behavioral health principles and applied behavior analysis techniques.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to work collaboratively within a team environment.
- Compassionate approach towards patient care, demonstrating empathy and understanding of client needs.
- Knowledge of special education practices and strategies
