What You'll DoActs as lead worker over lower-level behavioral healthcare providers or independently develops and implements treatment plans for clientsCoordinates admission, assessment, evaluation, and treatment plans of client's care cycleProvides interventions with acute, more complex clientsHandles cases containing numerous factors and problems and provides crisis interventionParticipates in process of establishing, implementing, and directing behavioral healthcare programs and treatment system objectivesDevelops and designs treatment intervention techniques and procedures, evaluates and modifies treatment systems to be responsive to client's progress and ability to change behaviorEvaluates performance of lower-level behavioral healthcare providers in administration of prescribed treatment plans and maintains necessary data documents to satisfy requirements of federal, state and local agenciesServes as active member of treatment teams, training sessions, department procedure meetings, policy review meetingsEstablishes and maintains working relationship with other facilities, agencies and support services in order to coordinate referrals and conduct follow-up servicesWhat You'll NeedAssociate's degree RequiredLicensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC) by Ohio Counselor, Social Work, Marriage & Family Therapy Board.Current BLS certified through the AMA (American Medical Association)Toledo Correctional Institute Summary:The Toledo Correctional Institution is a state-operated prison for adult male inmates, managed by the Ohio Department of Rehabilitation and Correction. The facility provides secure custody while offering a variety of programs designed to support rehabilitation and reduce recidivism. Inmates have access to educational and vocational training, substance abuse and behavioral programs, and medical and mental health services.
