Position Summary:
Under the supervision of the Director of ABA, you will be instrumental in enhancing the lives of individuals with behavioral challenges. Utilizing evidence-based interventions grounded in behavior analysis principles, you will collaborate with clients, families, and interdisciplinary teams to foster positive behavior change and improve quality of life.
Work Environment: This role involves travel and includes working both in the client’s home and in the Milledgeville, Georgia clinic.
Essential Duties:
- Provide day-to-day case management for children on the autism spectrum.
- Draft policies and SOPs for the department.
- Conduct comprehensive and functional behavior assessments (FBAs) to identify causes of challenging behaviors and influential environmental variables.
- Develop individualized behavior intervention plans (BIPs) with strategies, techniques, and interventions for target behaviors.
- Offer clinical oversight to ensure compliance and retention for optimal outcomes.
- Handle discharge and transition planning for your caseload.
- Assist with marketing and recruitment for children with behavioral needs/autism.
- Hire and provide orientation and ongoing supervision to RBTs.
- Participate in weekly L10 meetings, conferences, and webinars as needed.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams, including psychologists, educators, and therapists.
- Train and educate clients, families, caregivers, and other stakeholders on behavior management.
- Adhere to ethical guidelines and professional standards set by the Behavior Analyst Certification Board (BACB).
- Engage in research to advance the field of behavior analysis.
- Promote parent engagement in ABA therapy for improved client outcomes.
- Pursue ongoing professional development to remain current in the field.
- Support the growth of Primecare ABA Therapy and assist in business pursuits.
Required Knowledge, Skills, Abilities, and Competences:
- In-depth knowledge of Behavior Analysis in natural settings.
- Familiarity with state regulations for support of individuals with IDD.
- Strong leadership, teaching, communication, and listening skills.
- Experience with center-based, early intervention, and managing challenging behaviors in natural settings.
- Empathetic, team-player with a strong customer-focus.
- Proficiency in Google Suite or similar software.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.
- Ability to handle confidential and sensitive information with discretion and professionalism.
- Willingness to travel for meetings and work flexible hours.
- Experience with ABA Therapy software.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Master's Level Degree in Behavior Analysis or related field
- Licensed Professional as per state guidelines.
- BCBA Certification in Applied Behavior Analysis per BACB guidelines.
