Licensed Psychologist or Counselor

The Pastoral Counseling Service is receiving applications regarding an upcoming counseling position. The PCS is a private practice counseling center in a beautiful garden setting within the campus of Peachtree Road United Methodist Church in Buckhead. Clinically licensed therapists, with a variety of backgrounds and credentials, staff this center.

Since 1974 it has provided a wide range of individual, couple, children, and family counseling. It is currently staffed by those with backgrounds in psychology, marriage & family therapy, and pastoral counseling. This opportunity is for a therapist who is interested in developing or expanding a private practice of their own.

The PCS is a counseling center located in an 8800-member church, offering counseling for both the church membership and for the greater Atlanta community. We are looking for a counselor who is an experienced therapist, who is faith-based, and who is licensed or license-eligible.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in Psychology and Mental Health practices
• State licensure or license-eligible as a Licensed Psychologist, Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), or equivalent
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
• Ability to work collaboratively within a team-oriented environment
• Commitment to providing ethical and client-centered care

Pay: $40,000.00 - $125,000.00 per year
