Compensation

Pay Range: $50,000-$55,000 Per Year

Description

• This full-time onsite position based in Astoria, NY, involves providing counseling services in a multidisciplinary setting.
• The role requires facilitating individual and group sessions, developing recovery plans, and utilizing various counseling approaches.
• Applicants should have experience in substance use treatment and a relevant educational background.
  
  

• Full CASAC certification
• Organizational and communication skills for effective interaction
• Critical thinking and sound judgment skills
• Bachelor’s degree in behavioral or social sciences with 1 year of relevant experience
• Associate’s degree in behavioral or social sciences with 2 years of relevant experience
• High School Diploma with 3 years of paid experience in the field
  
  

• Experience in drug rehabilitation or related service delivery system
• Ability to work with clients to improve life choices
• Sensitivity to cultural and linguistic needs of clients
• Experience in crisis intervention
• Ability to adhere to ethical standards
