A Behavior Technician - also known as a Registered Behavior Technician or RBT - is a 1 on 1 therapist, that means that you get to work directly with children to create lasting impact on their lives and build them a better future.

Your Responsibilities:

  • Provide direct 1-on-1 ABA therapy to clients in home, school, community, and center settings
  • Teach skills like better communication, social interaction, and daily living skills to children with autism
  • Work under a Master level therapist who will provide training plans for each child
  • Collect accurate data and implement programs and protocols
  • Maintain open communication regarding cases with program supervisors
  • Check and maintain schedule on scheduling software
  • Other duties as assigned by the supervisor

Qualifications:

  • High School diploma required
  • Certification as Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) highly preferred
  • At least 1-2 years experience working with children highly preferred
  • At least 1 year experience with ABA preferred
  • Bachelor’s Degree in psychology or related field preferred
  • Must have a valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
  • Should enjoy working on an interdisciplinary team and collaborating with others
  • Detail oriented with strong organizational skills
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Passion for helping others
  • Must be able to pass a background check
