Part Time Social Service Coordinator for Seniors - 12 hrs/week

Part-time Social Service Coordinator— 12 hours per week in a senior affordable housing building in Charleroi, PA

Responsibilities include:

• Facilitating access for seniors to available services and entitlement benefits
• Scheduling on-site educational and service programs
• Working closely with residents to develop activities that meet social, health, and recreational needs
• Developing a monthly newsletter or calendar of events
• Organizing and facilitating monthly meetings

You will also assist residents with any issues and concerns that they may have such as transportation issues, employment resources, help with their bills, money management, homemaker services, gaining access to community resources and social service agencies.

Mandatory Requirements:

- Act 33, 34, and 73 Clearances
- No criminal record will be considered
- At least 1 year of social work or related field or equivalent experience.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $18.00 per hour
