Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) Full-Time

In-Home & School-Based ABA Services

Location: Jacksonville, Florida 32218
Hours: Full-Time (35–40 hours per week)
Pay: $22–$28 per hour (based on experience)

About the Role

Dream Light ABA is seeking a dedicated, energetic, and compassionate Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) to provide ABA therapy services for a 6-year-old client in both home and school settings. The RBT will work under the supervision of a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) to implement individualized treatment goals focused on communication, social, behavioral, and adaptive skill development.

The ideal candidate must demonstrate professionalism, patience, consistency, and the ability to engage actively with young children in both structured and natural environments.

Responsibilities

• Implement individualized Behavior Intervention Plans (BIPs) developed by the supervising BCBA.
• Collect accurate and detailed data during each session
• Support the client in developing communication, social, and daily living skills
• Collaborate with the BCBA, caregivers, and school staff to ensure consistency across environments
• Maintain professionalism, confidentiality, and a positive, structured approach at all times

Requirements

• Active RBT certification (BACB required)
• Prior RBT experience strongly preferred
• Fluency in spoken English is required to effectively support the client's communication goals.
• Candidates who are not fluent in English are respectfully asked not to apply.
• Experience in educational settings (teacher, paraprofessional, tutor, homeschool instructor) is highly valued.
• Strong communication, organization, and teamwork skills
• Reliable transportation and the ability to travel between home and school settings
• Must be able to commute within the 32218 area

Schedule

Flexible Monday–Friday schedule.
Services may include:

• School-based hours (approximately 9:00 AM – 2:00 PM)
• Home-based afternoon hours (approximately 3:30 PM – 6:30 PM or 4:00 PM – 7:00 PM)

The exact schedule will be coordinated with the client's and the school's needs.
