Patient Care Coordinator / Receptionist-Technician

Eclipse Eye Care is a patient-focused optometry office located in Lewisville, TX. We are looking for a full-time team member who is friendly, dependable, coachable, and enjoys working closely with patients in a fast-paced environment.

This role combines front desk responsibilities with clinical support, making it ideal for someone who enjoys variety and being actively involved in patient care.

No prior optometry experience is required — we are happy to train the right person.

What You’ll Do

  • Greet and check in patients in a friendly, professional manner
  • Answer phones and assist patients with scheduling and questions
  • Schedule appointments (phone, online requests, and in-office)
  • Verify vision insurance and assist with basic billing tasks (we will train)
  • Collect payments for services
  • Perform pretesting before the doctor exam (we will train)
  • Help manage patient flow to keep the office running smoothly
  • Clearly communicate next steps, follow-ups, and instructions to patients
  • Support the doctor and team in delivering a positive patient experience

Experience (Preferred, Not Required)

  • Customer service or front desk experience
  • Medical or optometry office experience

We are willing to train the right candidate with a strong attitude and work ethic.

Schedule

  • Full-time
  • Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Friday, Saturday
  • Typical hours: 9:00 AM – 5:30 PM
  • Must be available Saturdays

Compensation & Growth

  • $15–17/hour based on experience, communication skills, and fit
  • Pay increases based on performance, reliability, and growth
  • Opportunity to grow into a lead role with increased responsibilities
