Overview
Maimonides is seeking an Assistant Vice President of Psychiatry.
Responsibilities
* Handle all financial, operational, and HR functions for the division
* Develop/maintain department policies to ensure compliance with Joint Commission, NYS Mental Hygiene Codes, rules and regulations and other federal, state, municipal regs.
* Implement corrective actions and procedures and responses to issues
* Investigate/respond to patient, family and other consumer reps regarding staff, services
* Participate in the design/maintenance of management information systems
* Prepare routine and special reports regarding department activity
* Participate in the development and implementation of new programs for patients
* Develop business plans for increased and/or staffing replacement
Qualifications
* Master's degree in Public Administration, Business Administration
* Minimum of 7+ years' experience in health care industry, including minimum 5 years of managerial experience
* Knowledge of direct experience with mental hygiene regulations, licensing, and reporting requirements
* Technical knowledge of existing computer systems
* Good interpersonal verbal/written communication & interpersonal skills
Pay Range
USD $220,000.00 - USD $250,000.00 /Yr.
