A contract opportunity is available for a Speech-Language Pathologist skilled in telespeech and teletherapy services within a school setting in Fayetteville, NC. This role focuses on delivering remote speech-language pathology support to K-12 students, ensuring effective communication development and therapy progress through virtual platforms.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide teletherapy sessions to students requiring speech and language intervention
  • Assess, plan, and implement individualized treatment plans tailored to each student’s communication needs
  • Collaborate with educators and support staff to integrate speech goals within the academic environment
  • Maintain accurate, timely documentation of therapy sessions, progress notes, and reports
  • Utilize digital tools and software to deliver engaging and effective remote therapy
  • Participate in virtual meetings and professional development to enhance teletherapy skills

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Valid Speech-Language Pathology licensure appropriate for the state of North Carolina
  • Experience delivering speech therapy via teletherapy platforms in educational settings
  • Strong understanding of pediatric speech and language disorders and corresponding treatment techniques
  • Ability to engage children through virtual interaction while maintaining professional standards
  • Effective communication and organizational skills
  • Familiarity with educational curricula and Individualized Education Plans (IEPs) preferred
