ABOUT THE ROLE
Magnolia Therapy is seeking a reliable, regulated, and play-based Behavior Technician to work with young children in an early-intervention clinic.
This role requires consistent engagement, emotional presence, and the ability to remain calm and flexible during challenging moments. Technicians typically work in longer session blocks with one primary learner, allowing for strong relationships and meaningful progress.
This position is ideal for someone who:
- Enjoys working closely with young children
- Values consistency and routine over constant rotation
- Can receive and apply feedback in the moment
- Is looking for a stable, long-term clinical role
This role is not a good fit for someone seeking short-term training, rapid credentialing, or a low-interaction position.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Provide 1:1 ABA-based support using play-based and NET strategies
- Implement treatment goals under BCBA supervision
- Support transitions, waiting, emotional regulation, and early learning skills
- Collect session data and document progress
- Communicate effectively with supervisors and team members
- Maintain professionalism, consistency, and reliability
QUALIFICATIONS
- RBT certification preferred but not required
- Minimum 2 years of experience working with young children (early intervention or autism preferred)
- Experience with play-based, NET, or developmental approaches
- Ability to receive real-time feedback and coaching
- BLS / CPR Certification (or ability to obtain)
- Strong attendance and communication skills
Note: This role prioritizes regulation, coachability, and consistency over credentials alone.
SCHEDULE & WORK EXPECTATIONS (PLEASE READ)
- Clinic-based only
- Schedule Options (Clinic-Based):Schedules are consistent once assigned.
- Preference given to candidates who can commit to a stable block.
- Morning Block: 8:30 AM–12:30 PM
- Full Day: 8:30 AM–4:30 PM, 8:30 AM -2:30 PM, 10:30 AM, 4:30 PM
- Afternoon Block: 12:30 PM–4:30 PM
