BOS Medical Staffing is looking for a Licensed Masters Social Worker to work in a correctional Facility in the Metro Atlanta Area. The ideal candidate is comfortable working in a fast paced correctional setting, has worked in the mental health field before, and is tech savvy in order to meet the documentation requirements set by the facility.

Available Hours: Full-Time hours! 9A-5P Monday-Friday or 6P-12A

Responsibilities:

  • Assists in coordinating and implementing counseling services in the jail
  • Assists in coordinating and implementing evidence-based programming in the jail
  • Keeps records of inmates’ interactions and action plans
  • Creates and maintains professional relationship with inmates to better serve them
  • Comply with all County Policies, Protocols, and Procedures
  • Perform other duties as assigned

Requirements & Skills:

  • Master's degree in Social Work
  • Previous experience in a correctional and mental health setting
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage and motivate a diverse team
  • Knowledge of counseling strategies and safety in correctional settings
  • Candidates must pass a criminal background check including an FBI Fingerprint Criminal History Check and Pre-employment drug screen
