Family Beeginnings, INC. is seeking a professional, energetic, and driven RBT/behavior technician to join our team!

Family Beeginnings is a clinic and home-based ABA company serving Prince William, Loudoun, Fairfax & Stafford Counties. For individuals who do not have a current RBT position, we offer paid RBT training and a comprehensive mentorship program. Both full-time and part-time positions are available.
Job Duties:
- Required to perform appropriate services as directed by Board Certified Behavior Analysts (BCBA’s/BCaBA's) and the developed plan of care using Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) methods
- You will document ongoing session notes and collect data
- Required to communicate and work together with the parents and caregivers on treatment goals
- Teach and promote language skills
- Teach and promote social skills
- Teach and promote daily living skills
- You work together with BCBA/BCaBA's, parents, caregivers, and teachers to successfully achieve appropriate results as a team
- You maintain appropriate communication with supervisors and management regarding case management, scheduling, status, and updates
Job Requirements-
To qualify for this position, you must meet one of the following:
*RBT (registered behavior technician) certification through the BACB
* individuals with 1+ years of behavioral/mental health experience working with children
* Teachers/individuals with 1+ years of experience working in special education
* Teachers/individuals with 3+ years of experience working with children in general Ed
Physical Requirements-
Must be able to lift 30-40 pounds
Physical Demands
The physical requirements here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions.
- Movements in response to a client’s interfering behavior, such as aggressive and self-injurious behavior
- Ability to move quickly and confidently to intervene in situations when protective carries or environmental arrangements are deemed necessary
- Ability to pursue a bolting student, including but not limited to: running, moving quickly from side to side
- Successful completion of Safety Care training and Re-Certifications
- Including but not limited to pivoting, knee squats, shuffling front and backward, and transporting clients per Safety Care procedures.
- Active participation and certification in Safety Care is a condition of employment. This job description is not intended to be all-inclusive, and the individual will also perform other reasonably related duties as requested by the Clinical Director and Director of Operations.
Must be able to support clients with transitioning, walking, and running activities
