Licensed Social Worker

A strong social worker candidate is skilled in facilitating partnerships with individuals, families, staff, and other agencies. Other duties and responsibilities include:

• Conducting comprehensive client assessments to evaluate client situations through interviews and investigations to determine needs and required services
• Providing direct counseling and therapy to support clients and help them develop coping mechanisms and resolve personal and social challenges
• Planning and implementing client assistance programs and tailored intervention plans, including referrals to relevant community resources
• Advocating for client needs, representing and supporting client groups, lobbying for policy changes, and developing community-based intervention programs
• Collaborating within interdisciplinary teams, healthcare professionals, and other collaborators to provide holistic client care
• Managing child welfare cases, investigating abuse and neglect cases, and taking protective actions when authorized
• Contributing to social policy and conducting research, providing consultation, and advising on social policy development to improve social service systems
• Assessing the impact of counseling and social programs and offering public education and consultation to professionals and community groups

Pay: $40,000.00 - $41,580.00 per month
