PRIMARY FUNCTION: Participates actively as part of the treatment team by facilitating vocational orientated groups as well as psychosocial and psychoeducational groups as needed. Completing daily documentation.
Shift: Monday through Friday: (9 am – 3 pm – ½ hour unpaid lunch included)
Essential Functions include:
- Develops and leads vocational orientated groups and some psychoeducational groups as it pertains to vocational readiness, as designated the Director of Clinical and Vocational Rehabilitation.
- Provide supportive counseling of members, during group time.
- Conduct ongoing communication with primary Rehabilitation Counselors and participate in treatment planning meetings and activities.
- Provide supervision of students and/or volunteers assigned to the group
- Order supplies necessary for the program with the approval of the Director of Clinical and Vocational Rehabilitation
- Complete daily group notes and any other required documentation at the time of service (same day) in the Electronic Health Record system
- Complete training in a timely manner
- Participate in all staff and treatment team meetings as required
- Other duties as assigned by the Chief Executive Officer and/or Director of Clinical and Vocational Rehabilitation
REQUIREMENTS:
- BA in Human Services preferred
- Demonstrated experience with group counseling in a vocational or mental health setting required.
