Job Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and compassionate Clinical Supervisor to lead and support a team of mental health professionals. In this pivotal role, you will oversee clinical operations, ensure the delivery of high-quality patient care, and foster a collaborative environment that promotes growth and excellence. Your expertise in behavioral health, combined with strong leadership skills, will help shape effective treatment plans and improve outcomes for diverse populations, including children, individuals with developmental disabilities, and those experiencing crisis situations. This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to make a meaningful difference while advancing your career in mental health services.

Responsibilities

  • Supervise and mentor licensed clinicians such as Licensed Clinical Social Workers (LCSW), Licensed Marriage and Family Therapists (LMFT), and Licensed Professional Clinical Counselors (LPCC) to ensure adherence to clinical standards and best practices.
  • Oversee intake assessments, diagnostic evaluations, and treatment planning for clients across various settings including outpatient, community-based, and hospital environments.
  • Provide direct supervision of individual and group therapy sessions utilizing evidence-based modalities such as cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), behavioral therapy, applied behavior analysis (ABA), and motivational interviewing.
  • Manage crisis intervention efforts, ensuring timely response to mental health emergencies while maintaining compliance with HIPAA regulations and medical documentation standards.
  • Coordinate case management activities, including patient care planning, medical records management, and data collection for clinical research or quality improvement initiatives.
  • Facilitate training workshops on topics like trauma-informed care, working with children or individuals with autism or disabilities, crisis management, and special education strategies.
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to support patients’ social work needs, behavioral health goals, and community care plans while ensuring compliance with ICD-10/ICD-9 coding standards for accurate documentation.

Experience

  • Proven experience in behavioral health settings with a focus on mental health counseling, child & family counseling, or working with individuals with disabilities or developmental challenges.
  • Demonstrated expertise in crisis management, crisis intervention techniques, and PTSD care within hospital or community environments.
  • Strong background in intake procedures, diagnostic evaluation processes, addiction counseling, and group therapy facilitation.
  • Familiarity with medical terminology related to behavioral health services, ICD coding systems (ICD-10/ICD-9), CPT coding for billing purposes, and HIPAA compliance standards.
  • Experience working with children or pediatrics is highly preferred; experience in special education or working within hospital settings is advantageous.
  • Ability to lead clinical research projects or data collection efforts related to behavioral health outcomes. Join us in this rewarding role where your leadership will inspire positive change! We are dedicated to fostering an inclusive environment that values professional growth and the well-being of both our staff and the communities we serve.
