Contract | Full‑Time Onsite | 35–37.5 Hours/Week | Weekly Pay: $2100–$2300 (DOE & Location)
About the Role
We’re partnering with a district in Statesville, NC to bring on a full‑time, onsite BCBA for the 2026–2027 school year. If the candidate’s schedule allows, the district is open to having them start immediately to finish out the current school year before rolling into next year’s contract.
This role is ideal for a BCBA who thrives in school‑based environments, supports teachers with practical, behavior‑analytic strategies, and maintains strong documentation and communication practices.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct functional behavior assessments (FBAs) and develop behavior intervention plans (BIPs)
- Provide direct and indirect support to students receiving behavioral services
- Coach and collaborate with teachers, paraprofessionals, and related service providers
- Support MTSS/RTI behavior frameworks and data‑driven decision‑making
- Model evidence‑based interventions and support classroom implementation
- Maintain accurate, timely documentation aligned with district and state expectations
- Participate in IEP meetings and multidisciplinary team discussions
- Provide crisis‑prevention and de‑escalation support as needed
Qualifications
- Active BCBA certification (Board Certified Behavior Analyst)
- Master’s degree in Applied Behavior Analysis, Special Education, Psychology, or related field
- North Carolina Behavior Analyst Licensure (or eligibility to obtain)
- Experience in school‑based or pediatric settings preferred
- Strong skills in assessment, data collection, and behavior‑analytic programming
- Excellent communication, collaboration, and time‑management abilities
- Ability to work independently in a structured, fast‑paced school environment

- Hours: 35–37.5 hours per week (100% onsite)

- Contract Length: Full 2026–2027 school year
- Early start available to finish out the current school year if schedule permits
- Compensation: $2100–$2300 weekly (based on experience and location)
- Start Date: August 2026 (or earlier if available)
- Caseload: Assigned by district; may include direct services, consultation, and staff coaching
