Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced Dental Insurance Coordinator / Patient Care Coordinator who is motivated, detail-oriented, and passionate about helping patients navigate their dental care. This role is essential in ensuring a seamless patient experience—from insurance coordination to overall patient communication and support.

The ideal candidate is a team player with leadership aspirations, a willingness to learn, and the ability to thrive in a collaborative, fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Verify dental insurance benefits and eligibility
  • Submit, track, and follow up on insurance claims
  • Present treatment plans and explain financial options to patients
  • Coordinate patient scheduling and maintain efficient daily flow
  • Communicate clearly with patients regarding insurance coverage and out-of-pocket costs
  • Handle billing questions and resolve account issues
  • Collaborate closely with clinical and administrative team members
  • Support front desk operations and overall patient experience

Qualifications

  • Required: Previous experience in a dental office (insurance coordination and/or front desk)
  • Strong understanding of dental insurance plans, claims, and billing processes
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Highly organized with strong attention to detail
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced environment
  • Proficiency with dental practice management software
