Job Summary

Rosalino Counseling Services, LLC is seeking a dedicated and compassionate School Social Worker to support students and families through comprehensive psychosocial services. Under the general direction of the Clinical Psychologist, the School Social Worker will coordinate and implement psychosocial and community-based programs in alignment with NHSI standards of practice, licensing requirements, and regulatory guidelines.

This role involves assessment, counseling, crisis intervention, program development, and collaboration with school staff, families, and community providers to support the emotional and behavioral well-being of students.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist in the assessment, planning, coordination, and implementation of psychosocial programs
  • Provide individual and group counseling, including short-term counseling and crisis intervention
  • Identify psychosocial needs and develop appropriate treatment interventions
  • Serve as a liaison between school, family, and community resources
  • Support family services, protective services, and student advocacy efforts
  • Develop and deliver educational and prevention programs for students, families, and staff
  • Provide counseling support during pregnancy, when applicable
  • Conduct community outreach and educational presentations for youth and adults
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams including clinical, educational, and community staff
  • Assist with data collection, surveys, and program evaluation related to psychosocial outcomes
  • Prepare quarterly reports and documentation as required (e.g., Community Challenge Grant)
  • Develop psychosocial educational materials and resources
  • Provide staff trainings and in-service presentations
  • Utilize assessment tools and standardized measures to guide treatment and evaluate outcomes
  • Coordinate referrals and services with external providers and agencies
  • Perform additional duties as assigned

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Social Work, Counseling, Psychology, or related field (required)
  • Master’s degree in Social Work or related field (preferred)
  • Experience working with children, adolescents, and families
  • Strong knowledge of psychosocial assessment, intervention, and crisis management
  • Ability to work collaboratively within school and community-based settings

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bilingual (English/Spanish) strongly preferred
  • Experience working with Hispanic/Latino populations and understanding of cultural values, family dynamics, and child-rearing practices
  • Experience in multicultural settings
  • Willingness to engage in continued training related to cultural competence and language development
