You will follow an individualized treatment plan developed by a licensed supervisor and receive ongoing coaching as you work toward RBT certification.

What You Will Do

  • Provide one-on-one ABA therapy sessions in clinic, home, school, or community settings

  • Use engaging, age-appropriate activities to support skill development

  • Encourage positive behaviors through reinforcement and consistency

  • Collect session data and complete simple documentation

  • Communicate professionally with families and collaborate with your care team

  • Participate in required training, supervision, and feedback

This role includes structured support to help you meet the Behavior Analyst Certification Board (BACB) requirements for RBT certification, including:

  • Completion of a 40-hour BACB-approved RBT training program

  • Successful completion of the RBT Competency Assessment with a qualified supervisor

  • Passing the RBT examination administered through the BACB

  • Adherence to the BACB RBT Ethics Code

Cardinal provides access to training resources, supervision, and exam preparation support.

You must be able and willing, with or without reasonable accommodation, to obtain your RBT certification within 60 days of hire. Continued employment in this role is contingent upon meeting this requirement.

More information about RBT certification requirements is available through the Behavior Analyst Certification Board (BACB).

  • TB test completed within the past 12 months

  • Ability to pass criminal background and abuse registry checks

  • Arizona applicants: valid Fingerprint Clearance Card required

  • Reliable transportation to assigned work locations

  • Ability to work directly with children for multiple hours per day

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Background or coursework in education, psychology, healthcare, social work, or related fields

  • Experience working with children or individuals with developmental disabilities

  • Interest in a long-term career in ABA or behavioral health

Schedule and Hours:

  • Full-Time and Part-Time opportunities available

  • Structured, consistent schedules to support stability for staff and families

  • Opportunities for advancement into RBT and beyond

  • Paid drive time between sessions for services delivered outside of the center
