Full-Time | Monday–Friday | Reports to HR Manager
About the Practice:
Progressive Spine & Orthopaedics is a growing, multi-location specialty medical practice serving patients across New Jersey. We are seeking an experienced HR Generalist to support daily HR operations across several office locations.
This role is ideal for an HR professional who is hands-on, organized, and comfortable working in a fast-paced healthcare environment.
Position Overview:
The HR Generalist works directly with the HR Manager to support recruitment, onboarding, employee relations, compliance, and workforce administration across clinical and administrative teams.
This is not an entry-level HR position. We are seeking someone with solid generalist experience who can work independently while collaborating closely with leadership.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support full-cycle recruitment for clinical and administrative roles
- Coordinate onboarding and new hire documentation
- Provide guidance to managers and employees regarding HR policies and procedures
- Assist with hiring, terminations, and employee status changes
- Monitor and audit timekeeping and attendance records
- Maintain accurate personnel files and HR documentation
- Ensure compliance with federal and New Jersey employment regulations
Qualifications:
- 3 to 5 years of HR experience (healthcare or multi-site environment preferred)
- Working knowledge of NJ employment laws
- Strong organizational and communication skills
- Experience with HRIS systems and Microsoft Office
- Ability to manage confidential information with professionalism

COMPENSATION:
In accordance with the New Jersey Pay Transparency Act, we disclose that this position falls within Pay Grade 6 of the 2025 OPM Table applicable to the NY, NJ, CT, and PA region. Compensation will be based on experience and education.
