Responsibilities including, but not limited to:
• Handle all aspects of personal injury files from filing the complaint until conclusion of the case.
• Maintain frequent and compassionate communication with clients regarding case status, treatment progress, and legal steps.
• Draft correspondence, pleadings, discovery responses, and settlement demands.
• Coordinate with medical providers to obtain and summarize records and bills.
• Prepare cases for arbitration, mediation, and trial as necessary.
• Track deadlines and manage attorney calendars to ensure timely filings and appearances.
Qualifications
• Minimum 3 years of experience in plaintiff's personal injury law (required).
• Strong understanding of New Jersey tort law, court procedures, and e-filing systems.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Proficient in legal case management software
• Ability to multitask, work independently, and stay organized in a fast-paced environment.
• Treat others with respect and contribute to a positive team environment
• Knowledge of Trial pad and/or TrialWorks a plus
• Strong computer skills with Microsoft Word and PDF conversion software. Excel and PowerPoint experience is necessary
• Knowledge of Local and State discovery rules
• Organization skills and attention to detail
