Staff Psychologist

Experteer Overview In this role you work within the Neuropsychology Clinic to deliver neuropsychological assessment and rehabilitation services, while contributing to intern training and the Psychology Training Program. You provide clinical consultation to staff and learners, guide unit teams, and ensure timely documentation. The position blends direct clinical work with training leadership and program involvement, offering a meaningful impact on patient care and professional development. Compensation / Benefits • Conduct comprehensive neuropsychological assessment and deliver appropriate psychotherapeutic interventions • Participate in Psychology Internship Training Committee and supervise interns • Consult with medical center staff and trainees on psychological aspects of patient care • Involvement in training of medical and graduate trainees as appropriate • Ensure timely clinical charting and documentation • Provide leadership guidance and consultation to unit staff • May supervise licensure-track psychology trainees and other disciplines Tasks • Key requirements • Paid Time Off: 37-50 days per year • Parental Leave: up to 12 weeks after 12 months • Child Care Subsidy: up to 25% of eligible childcare costs • Retirement: federal pension and 401K with VA contributions • Federal health/vision/dental/long-term care insurance • Telework: not available
