Experteer Overview As a PRRC psychologist within the Central California Health Care System, you will support Veterans with serious mental health conditions through psycho-diagnostic assessments, psychotherapy, and psycho-education in an outpatient, multidisciplinary setting. You will work on a team that aims to help Veterans readjust to civilian life using strength-based and evidence-based approaches. You will operate with full clinical privileges and hold responsibility for your assessments, clinical decisions, and documentation. This role offers a regular daytime schedule and opportunities to contribute to a trusted patient care mission. Compensation / Benefits • Conduct psycho-diagnostic assessments and provide therapeutic and psycho-educational interventions • Offer consultative services to Veterans with psychiatric conditions, focusing on Serious Mental Illness (SMI) • Coordinate services across a multidisciplinary outpatient program • Maintain full clinical privileges and assume responsibility for assessment findings, care decisions, and documentation • Collaborate with the Medical Staff to support Veterans' readjustment to civilian life Tasks • Key requirements • Paid Time Off 37-50 days per year • Parental Leave up to 12 weeks after 12 months • Child Care Subsidy up to 25% of eligible costs after 60 days • Traditional federal pension (5 years vesting) • Federal health/vision/dental/long-term care insurance • Telework available on a limited ad hoc basis
