Job description:
Description: The behavior Technician works to help increase client independence by working towards goals as detailed in the client behavior and treatment plan. Typical goals include communication, household chores, recreational access and self-help skills. Services take place in both home and community settings.
Qualifications:
Must have HS diploma or GED. Must pass background check. Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) or BCAT (Board Certified Autism Technician) certification preferred, but can train. Higher end of compensation range offered for AA, BA/BS degree. Ability to transport client highly preferred.
License/Certification:
- RBT or BCAT Certification OR Certificate of Completion from 40 hour Behavioral Training preferred but not required.
Pay Range:
- $24-38 DOE and Credentials/Education
Benefits: Free supervision provided for those on the BCaBA or BCBA educational track. Sick time may be accrued after 90 consecutive days of employment.
Schedule: 2-4 shifts per week and up to 20 hours per week. Schedule negotiable. Current client Availability is M/W/F/Sat/Sun 9a-6p and Tu/Th 9a-3p. All hours need not be filled.
