Key Responsibilities:
- Provide one-to-one direct instruction to clients in their homes and within the community, focusing on communication, social, adaptive, and self-management skills.
- Collect objective data and document client progress, ensuring their development is accurately recorded.
- Drive to client homes and community locations (mileage reimbursement and paid drive time provided) to deliver services in home-based and community-based environments.
- Collaborate with clinical supervisors and caregivers to support client success.
- Participate in ongoing clinical meetings and staff training to continue growing in your field.
Who We're Looking For:
- Bachelor’s Degree in child development, psychology, special education, or a related field.
- Experience (minimum 3 months) working with children, adolescents, or adults—internships and volunteer work count!
- Ability to communicate effectively both in writing and verbally.
- Reliable transportation with a valid driver’s license and automobile insurance.
- Bilingual Spanish speakers are strongly encouraged to apply.
- Available to work: either full-time, Monday through Friday between the hours of 9:00 AM- 6:30 PM or part-time, Monday through Friday between the hours of 1:00 PM- 6:30 PM
Physical Demands: The role involves standing, walking, driving, and some light lifting. Ideal candidates will be able to adapt to various activities throughout the day.
Location: While our office is based in downtown Long Beach, we provide home-based and community-based services in Long Beach and surrounding cities Rancho Palos Verdes, Wilmington, San Pedro, Norwalk, Lakewood, Cerritos, Los Angeles, Culver City, Santa Monica, Huntington Park, Downey, Paramount, Compton. Additional cities in Los Angeles County may be assigned.

Pay Range: $21.00–$24.00 per hour (depending on experience). We utilize a payscale to determine where the person will be placed on.
