About the role
As a Lead BCBA, your voice truly matters. You’ll guide a team of BCBAs and technicians while shaping the clinical quality and culture of your region. You’ll help create an environment where staff feel supported and families feel heard.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead, mentor, and supervise BCBAs, Apprentices, RBTs, BTs, and training staff.
- Foster a collaborative, positive, and growth-focused team environment.
- Lead monthly staff meetings and serve as a communication bridge across teams.
- Support conflict resolution and guide team members with empathy and professionalism.
- Maintain an open-door policy to build trust, transparency, and engagement.
Clinical Quality & Case Management:
- Oversee treatment planning, care quality, and authorization utilization.
- Conduct caseload reviews and guide BCBA clinical development.
- Review Treatment Plans, BIPs, progress notes, and authorizations.
- Ensure timely, accurate completion of documentation.
- Conduct assessments and evaluations every six months.
- Maintain a partial caseload and flex as needed.
Training & Professional Development:
- Hold weekly coaching meetings with BCBAs.
- Recommend literature, PDUs, and learning opportunities.
- Partner with Training Coordinators to design and deliver clinical training.
- Support the Apprenticeship Program.
Operational Collaboration:
- Collaborate with Practice Manager and Regional VP to support intake and operational goals.
- Help manage staffing, onboarding, and clinic readiness.
- Ensure clinics remain stocked, organized, and within budget.
- Serve as initial point of contact for families beginning services.
- Gather staff and parent feedback to improve satisfaction.
Community & Professional Representation:
- Represent Cultivate at speaking and networking events.
- Collaborate with outside professionals for continuity of care.
- Uphold BACB Ethical Code and HIPAA requirements.

Qualifications
- 3–5 years of progressive experience including supervision.
- 3+ years of ABA experience preferred.
- Master’s degree in ABA or related field.
- BCBA certification and state licensure (if applicable).
- Passion for ABA, research, and continuous learning.
- Experience with supervision and clinical training.
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities
- Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Highly organized, detail-focused, and able to prioritize effectively.
- Skilled in public speaking and parent communication.
- Ability to collaborate with diverse teams.
- Familiarity with ABA data systems and Microsoft Office.
- Must pass Background and Drug Screen.
