We are currently seeking high energy, Registered Behavior Technicians (RBT) and behavior technicians (BT) for home, school, and community-based ABA therapy. Registered behavior technicians (RBT) work directly with children diagnosed with autism spectrum disorder (ASD) to assist in meeting treatment goals developed by a behavior analyst and the child's family. RBT's are responsible for implementing interventions, participating in ongoing training, collecting data on target behaviors and skills in progress and working with other team members on group related skills. RBT's work in collaboration with behavior analysts to provide feedback on the effectiveness of treatment protocols and potential barriers to the success of each child. Based on the current model, RBT's would be working with children and their families with the opportunity to work in home or in community settings.
Required education/experience:
- RBT certification preferred but not required; will provide in-house training
- At least 24 college credit hours are preferred, but not required
- Clear background check and consent to random drug screening as required by payors.
- Energetic personality and ability to stay active throughout the workday
- Enjoys working with children; able to work as part of a team
- Maintain professionalism with clients, co-workers and families
- Preferred: At least 1 year experience interacting with children diagnosed with developmental and/or intellectual disabilities such as autism spectrum disorder (ASD)
- Must have own reliable transportation to commute between work locations as necessary.
Compensation:
- Full time and some Part-Time positions available.
- $16.00 starting hourly rate for non-RBT candidates
- $17 starting hourly rate for RBT candidates/behavior techs who gain RBT certification with Higher Ground.
- $18 hourly rate for RBT after 30 days of employment/after becoming RBT certified
- Already an RBT? Start at $18 per hour for 0-6 months experience, $19 for 6-12 months experience, $20 for 12 months experience, $20+ for over 18 months!
- Performance evaluations every 12 months, or can be requested up to 4 times per year for potential wage increase/bonuses.
- Earn up to $20 per hour in 1 year!!!
- $13 per hour for any administrative time and training
- 50% of medical insurance benefit (Anthem commercial policy) covered after 30 days.
- Vision and dental insurance offered after 30 days of employment
- PTO: Starting at 2% of hours worked accrued per pay period with the ability to vest up to 120 hours of PTO, based on length of employment and performance.
- Sick Time: 1.92% of hours worked accrued per pay period, capped at 40 hours and is not vested
