Key Responsibilities
- Implement individualized treatment plans designed by BCBAs.
- Prompt and reinforce socially appropriate behaviors using evidence-based ABA strategies.
- Collect and document behavior data (e.g., ABC, frequency, duration, latency, interval recording).
- Support BCBAs in training families and caregivers on behavioral strategies.
- Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to ensure holistic treatment.
- Monitor client safety and promote a positive, supportive environment.
- Assist in educating families on reinforcement strategies and early intervention principles.
- Assist with toileting and diapering while maintaining client dignity, safety, and following care plans.
- Provide verbal and written updates on client progress.
- Participate in team meetings, training workshops, and in-service events.
- Promote a positive public image and advocate for clients and comprehensive services.
- Adhere to all clinic safety protocols and ethical standards.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualification and Skill Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent is required.
- Active RBT certification is required.
Physical Requirements
- Duties require extensive standing, walking, reaching, bending, kneeling, and crouching.
- Requires lifting, positioning, and/or transferring clients, including the ability to participate in physical activities and play-based therapies.
- May be required to lift a minimum of 50 pounds.
