Role Description

We are seeking a Counselor to join our Counseling and EAP team in Eugene, OR. In this part-time, or full-time on-site role, the Counselor will provide therapeutic support to clients, guiding them through challenging emotions, life circumstances, or mental health conditions. Responsibilities include conducting individual, couple, or group therapy sessions, developing personalized treatment plans, offering crisis intervention as needed, and supporting clients to build effective coping strategies and improved communication skills. The Counselor will also collaborate with colleagues and other health professionals to ensure the delivery of comprehensive care.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree or doctorate in social work, psychology, counseling, or human services required.
• LCSW, LPA, LPC, LMFT, or Psychologist licensure in Oregon strongly preferred.
• Ability to become certified as a Qualified Mental Health Professional.
• Clinical counseling experience with excellent communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively, seeking consultation when needed.
• Experience facilitating groups and delivering presentations preferred.
