Key Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive psychological assessments for students in grades K-5 and 9-12 to identify learning needs and emotional challenges.
- Collaborate with educators, parents, and administrators to develop effective intervention strategies and support plans.
- Provide individual and group counseling to help students develop coping skills and improve academic performance.
- Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings to discuss student progress and recommend accommodations.
- Maintain accurate records and prepare reports in compliance with school policies and state regulations.
- Appropriate licensure or certification as a School Psychologist.
- Experience working with diverse student populations across elementary and high school grade levels.
- Strong understanding of psychological assessment tools, educational laws, and intervention techniques.
- Ability to communicate effectively with students, families, and school staff.
- Sensitivity to cultural and socioeconomic diversity within the student body.
