Responsibilities

• Implement evidence-based behavioral interventions tailored to each individual’s needs, focusing on autism spectrum disorder (ASD) and other developmental disabilities
• Collect, record, and analyze data related to patient progress, ensuring accuracy and compliance with HIPAA regulations
• Support patient assessment processes by observing behaviors, documenting responses, and assisting with diagnostic evaluations
• Assist with intake procedures by gathering relevant medical records, conducting initial observations, and supporting patient onboarding
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and modify treatment plans based on ongoing assessments
• Maintain detailed medical documentation using appropriate terminology while adhering to confidentiality standards
• Provide compassionate patient care by engaging with individuals in a respectful, positive manner that encourages participation and progress

Skills

• Strong knowledge of behavioral therapy techniques and applied behavior analysis (ABA) principles
• Experience working with children or individuals with disabilities, especially those with autism spectrum disorder
• Proficiency in data collection methods and maintaining accurate medical records
• Familiarity with medical terminology, patient assessment procedures, and diagnostic evaluation processes
• Ability to work effectively within a special education or behavioral health setting while respecting HIPAA guidelines
• Excellent communication skills for collaborating with team members, patients, families, and caregivers
• Patience, empathy, and a proactive attitude toward supporting individuals through their developmental journey

Pay: $18.00 - $25.00 per hour

Work Location: In person
