Bachelor's or Master's degree in School Psychology, active School Psychologist license and minimum 1+ years School Psychologist experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

A school district in Bethlehem, PA is seeking a dedicated School Psychologist to support the educational and emotional development of students on a contract basis. This role offers the opportunity to collaborate with educators, parents, and other professionals to create a positive and effective learning environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct comprehensive psychological assessments and evaluations for students.
• Provide individual and group counseling services addressing academic, social, and emotional challenges.
• Collaborate with teachers and staff to develop and implement intervention plans.
• Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and contribute to Individualized Education Programs (IEPs).
• Offer consultations and training to school personnel to promote mental health awareness.
• Monitor and report on student progress and adjust strategies as needed.

Desired Qualifications:

• Masters or Doctoral degree in School Psychology or related field.
• Valid Pennsylvania School Psychology certification.
• Strong knowledge of psychological assessment tools and special education laws.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work effectively with diverse student populations.
• Experience in crisis intervention and prevention strategies is a plus.
