Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and knowledgeable Board Certified Assistant Behavior Analyst (BCaBA) to join our multidisciplinary behavioral health team. In this role, you will support the implementation of evidence-based behavioral interventions for individuals with developmental disabilities, including autism spectrum disorder. Your expertise will contribute to improving clients' quality of life through tailored behavioral therapy and comprehensive assessments. The ideal candidate will possess a strong foundation in applied behavior analysis, patient care, and working with children and individuals with disabilities, ensuring ethical and effective service delivery in compliance with HIPAA regulations and medical documentation standards.
Duties
- Assist in developing, implementing, and monitoring individualized behavior intervention plans based on applied behavior analysis principles.
- Collect and analyze data on client behaviors to evaluate progress and inform treatment modifications.
- Conduct behavioral assessments and contribute to diagnostic evaluations under supervision.
- Support intake procedures by gathering relevant medical records, conducting initial assessments, and preparing documentation.
- Collaborate with families, caregivers, and educational teams to promote consistency across environments.
- Maintain accurate medical records, ensuring compliance with the school's privacy standards and confidentiality protocols.
- Participate in team meetings to review client progress, discuss treatment strategies, and coordinate care plans.
- Provide direct behavioral therapy sessions tailored to the needs of children and individuals with developmental disabilities.
- Support patient care by conducting patient assessments and documenting observations thoroughly.
- Assist in training staff or caregivers on behavioral strategies and data collection methods.
Experience
- Bachelor's degree in psychology, education, or a related field; certification as a BCaBA from the Behavior Analyst Certification Board (BACB) is required.
- Prior experience working with children or individuals with developmental disabilities, preferably within a clinical or educational setting.
- Knowledge of applied behavior analysis techniques and behavioral therapy methodologies.
- Familiarity with medical terminology, medical records management, and documentation standards related to behavioral health.
- Experience conducting intake assessments and diagnostic evaluations for clients with autism or other disabilities.
- Understanding of HIPAA regulations to ensure privacy and confidentiality of patient information.
- Strong skills in data collection, analysis, and reporting to track client progress effectively. Pay: $65.00 - $70.00 per hour
