A contract opportunity is available for a skilled School Psychologist to support student mental health and educational assessments within a school setting in Pittsford, NY. This role focuses on providing psychological services that enhance student well-being, learning outcomes, and behavioral support.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive psychological assessments and evaluations to identify students' cognitive, behavioral, and emotional needs
  • Collaborate with educators, parents, and administrators to develop individualized education plans (IEPs) and intervention strategies
  • Provide counseling and crisis intervention to support students mental health and social-emotional development
  • Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings to recommend appropriate accommodations and interventions
  • Maintain accurate documentation and compliance with state and federal regulations related to school psychological services

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Masters or Doctoral degree in School Psychology or related field
  • Valid certification or licensure as a School Psychologist in New York State
  • Experience conducting psychological assessments and developing IEPs
  • Strong skills in counseling and behavior management techniques
  • Ability to work effectively within a school team environment and communicate with diverse stakeholders
