Bachelor's or Master's degree in School Psychology, active School Psychologist license and minimum 1+ years School Psychologist experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
A school psychologist position is available to support elementary K-6 students in Bellevue, NE. This contract role offers both full-time and part-time opportunities, providing flexibility to match your availability and career goals.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct psychological assessments and evaluations for students in grades K-6.
- Collaborate with educators, parents, and staff to develop and implement intervention plans.
- Provide counseling and support services to students to promote academic, social, and emotional well-being.
- Participate in Individualized Education Program (IEP) meetings and contribute to developing appropriate educational plans.
- Assist in crisis intervention and mental health promotion within the school environment.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Valid certification or licensure as a school psychologist.
- Experience working with elementary school-aged children (K-6) preferred.
- Knowledge of Child Study Year (CSY) and Non-Standard Year (NSY) schedules is a plus.
- Strong assessment, communication, and collaboration skills.
- Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team focused on student success.
