This part-time opportunity is for an experienced School Psychologist to provide comprehensive psychological services at a K-12 campus in Del Valle, TX. The position requires working onsite 20 hours per week in collaboration with an educational diagnostician. This role is ideal for a Licensed Specialist in School Psychology (LSSP) seeking a focused contract assignment within a single school community.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct psychological assessments and evaluations for students across grades K-12
- Collaborate closely with the educational diagnostician to support student learning and behavioral needs
- Develop and implement intervention plans based on data and evaluation results
- Participate in Individualized Education Program (IEP) meetings and provide expert recommendations
- Maintain accurate documentation and comply with state and district regulations
- Serve as a resource to teachers, parents, and administrators regarding student mental health and learning needs
Qualifications and Experience:
- Valid Texas LSSP certification or equivalent licensure
- Proven experience working with K-12 student populations in a school setting
- Strong assessment, diagnostic, and intervention skills
- Ability to build partnerships and communicate effectively with educators, families, and staff
- Must be available to work onsite exclusively; remote work is not permitted
