Psychologist

Everest Solutions Inc. is seeking a qualified Center Mental Health Consultant (CMHC) to provide mental health services at the Hawaii Job Corps Center in partnership with Management & Training Corporation (MTC).

The CMHC will play a critical role in supporting adolescents and young adults by providing mental health assessments, short-term counseling, crisis intervention, and case management services with a focus on employability and overall well-being.

Key Responsibilities:

· Conduct mental health assessments for applicants and enrolled students

· Provide short-term counseling and crisis intervention services

· Develop and implement individualized case management plans

· Identify barriers to employment and recommend appropriate interventions

· Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams including counselors, physicians, and wellness staff

· Participate in case conferences and provide clinical recommendations

· Refer students to external mental health providers when necessary

· Support mental health education and prevention programs

· Provide staff training on mental health awareness and adolescent development

Qualifications:

· Active, unrestricted license in the State of Hawaii as:

o Clinical/Counseling Psychologist OR

· Minimum 1 year experience providing mental health services to adolescents or young adults

· Experience in schools, residential programs, or similar settings preferred

· Strong assessment, counseling, and crisis management skills

· Ability to work collaboratively in a team-based environment

Schedule:

· Minimum 21 hours per week, up to 42 hours per week

· Schedule determined based on center needs

Compensation:

· Psychologist $81–$87/hr Competitive hourly rate (based on experience)
