Behavior Technician

Duties:

- Implement behavior intervention plans under the supervision of a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA)
- Provide direct one-on-one therapy to individuals with autism spectrum disorder (ASD)
- Collect and record data on client progress and behavior
- Assist with skill acquisition programs, including communication, social skills, and daily living skills
- Support clients in community outings and social activities
- Collaborate with the BCBA to develop and modify treatment plans as needed
- Maintain a safe and supportive environment for clients

Requirements:

- High School Diploma, Bachelor's Degree preferred
- Previous experience working with individuals with ASD preferred but not required
- Must be at least 18 years old
- Ability to pass a background check
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Reliable transportation to travel to client homes or other designated locations
- Ability to follow instructions and implement behavior intervention strategies accurately

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $19.00 - $25.00 per hour

Education:

• Bachelor's (Preferred)

Experience:

• Working with persons with autism/behavorial disabilities: 1 year (Required)
• Applied behavior analysis: 1 year (Preferred)

Ability to Relocate:

• Chino, CA 91710: Relocate before starting work (Required)

Willingness to travel:

• 100% (Preferred)
