We're looking for dedicated and empathetic Social Workers to join our team and support individuals and families through comprehensive, culturally-informed care.As a TAY Social Worker / Therapist, you will be supporting youth ages 15 - 25 by providing individual, group, and family-based services aimed at managing mental health symptoms and strengthening independent living skills. You’ll partner closely with clients and caregivers to build coping strategies, develop behavioral skills, and promote healthy daily functioning. As a TAY Social Worker/Therapist, you’ll help create and implement effective care plans and provide additional support for clients stepping down from more intensive services.   • Promptly meet with clients and caregivers on a regular basis to further treatment goals utilizing culturally informed and best practice modalities.
  • Coordinate with multi-disciplinary teams for the purpose of care planning and support.
  • Collaborate with agency staff, caregivers, other professionals and interested parties to formulate and implement individual client care plans, behavioral programs, and interventions.
  • Cultivate and maintain relationships with community members and providers, as needed.
  • Complete assessment and evaluation process of clients in order to develop and implement the care plan.
  • Provide assistance in case planning and consultation to team members on clinical issues, as well as casework issues, as appropriate.
  • Chart mental health notes, care plans, outcome measures, incident reports, and other documentation accurately and in a timely manner.
  • Maintain availability for crisis intervention services, such as on-call rotation, if applicable.
  • Participate in individual and/or group supervision.
  • Comply with all child abuse reporting and Medicaid/Medi-Cal requirements in accordance with standards set by Seneca.
  • Maintain strict confidentiality of client and business operations information.
Qualifications:Required
  • Master’s degree in social work/psychology/counseling.
  • Current licensure or eligibility for licensure with the applicable regulatory agency responsible for licensing, examination, and enforcement of competent mental health practice standards.
  • Experience working with children in out-of-home care preferred.
  • At least 21 years of age.
  • TB test clearance, fingerprinting clearance, and any other state/federal licensing or certification requirements.
  • Valid driver's license, clean driving record, and insurability through Seneca Family of Agencies’ insurance policy.

Schedule
  • Monday - Friday, 9:00 AM - 5:30 PM
  • On-call; 2 shifts per month scheduled in advance
Benefits:
  • Starting at $73,213 - $87,213 per year.
  • Actual salary dependent on creditable experience above the minimum qualifications for the role.

  • Additional $4000 salary increase for BBS licensure.
