Job Summary
Under the direct supervision of the Director of Child Care, the Child Care Coordinator is responsible for the management and supervision of multiple child care sites; to plan, organize and coordinate the functions, operations and activities of the program; to supervise classified employees; to maintain a positive, safe and orderly child care program by enforcing school and district rules and policies; and to act as liaison to parents, community, staff and the District to solve problems, resolve conflicts and complete tasks.
QUALIFICATIONS
Education/Certification:
- Required: Bachelor’s degree or equivalent.
- Three years of experience in providing child care to multi-age groups of students, and two supervising multiple staff.
- Must obtain within six (6) months of employment first aid certification including CPR training and keep both current.
- Department of Justice and FBI clearance.
- Current TB test with screening every 4 years to remain up to date.
- Valid California Driver’s License and safe driving record.
Experience
- Minimum of three years of experience working in a child care setting, applying some of the skills outlined in this job description.
- Minimum two years of experience with supervision of multiple staff members.
- Experience with employee scheduling.
- Experience with child care management software.
Pay: $7,017.00 - $7,955.00 per month
