Behavior Technician ( PAID BCAT TRAINING)

What A Typical Day Is Like:

Work one-on-one with children diagnosed with autism spectrum disorder or with children who exhibit other special need challenges in a fun and playful setting. We help kids close the gap by teaching them: communication skills, social/play skills, fine/gross motor skills, safety skills, self-help skills, behavioral/adaptive daily living skills, and self-regulation/personal copping strategies. We also focus on teaching behavioral management and effective ways for children to meet their needs.

Pay Rate For The Position: $20.00-$22.00

Hours For The Position: Monday through Friday, between the hours of 2p-7p and Saturdays 9a-3p.

What We're Looking For:

• ABA experience and education are not required but encouraged.

Ability to remain organized while working creatively with kids.

Ability to drive to/between client homes (Most therapists are matched with kids within a 5-20-mile range of their home.)

Qualifications:

- High School Diploma/GED or Higher

·- Must be at least 18 years of age

· Must be authorized to work in the U.S.

· Pass a background check conducted by DOJ/FBI.
