Social Worker | Elgin, Illinois

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Social Work, active Social Worker license and minimum 1+ years School Social Work experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

Provide social work support for high school students in an on-site leave replacement role from April 1 to May 26, 2026, in Elgin, IL. This contract position requires managing a full caseload and collaborating with school staff to address student emotional, social, and behavioral needs.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver social work services to high school students, including assessments, counseling, and crisis intervention
• Develop and implement individualized plans to support student success and well-being
• Collaborate with parents, teachers, and administration to coordinate resources and interventions
• Maintain accurate documentation and comply with school policies and professional standards

Qualifications:

• Professional Educator License (PEL) required
• Proof of relevant degree in social work or related field
• Experience working as a social worker in a school setting preferred
• Strong communication and organizational skills
• Ability to work on-site throughout the contract term

Location and Schedule:

• Position is located at a high school in Elgin, IL
• Full-time hours at 35 hours per week
• Contract duration: April 1 to May 26, 2026
